But, Yes, I'd rather die by/of my own volition for something I trust, than have my life taken by something else for a nothing I don't!
Aliens and Gods are totally excluded from the above statement as I'm yet to see one of either!
Maybe it's just a male thing, but my trust is a given until proven to be otherwise? And even then, I've still 8 cheeks to turn before I bite back... face 2, palms 2, feet 2, and the obvious 2 they can kiss if all else fails!

It seems to me that if you have faith in something that automatically says you are willing to die for it... But a bigger question is: Are you willing to live for your faith. Doesn't take much to die; living is harder.
