Hello

I have a prompt for you haiku writers which is to write a modern haiku about any aspect of sprng. Modern haiku tends not to conform to the 5-7-5 form. Some modern haiku are as short as three words or 3 syllables and others may be as long as 18 or 19 syllables.

That’s it, here is mine:

winter’s snows
gently melt
as spring begins
to warm
the earth
