Hey Lisa, thanks for all of the info and I am with all of you all, I am so elated that justice won out this time and I am waitng to see what the outcome of the trial will be...I am so gald that the poeple of that town kept up the pressure to get justice for Trayvon and I hope they will be there throughout the trial...Lisa, I love the changes to the poem, good job! I agree with all you've said Jay...I saw Trayvon's parents and brother on the Today Show and they are still deeply grieving, it was hard for me to watch his mom speak because her pain is still so very raw and when I heard her say that she was elated that her son's killer was behind bars and that Trayvon was finally getting justice, my heart ached for her and her family...She also said that her son was murdered because he was Black and because he was walking down the street and was racially profiled...that was a powerful interview that brought it all home for me and gave me the incentive to keep writing about this subject...thanks about liking my poem I saw that interview too and it was so hard to watch...I am so glad that you will keep writing about this case because it is an important part of history...many thanks to you, Lisa

all I can say, is that it took them long enough to make an arrest...like all of you, I was so happy when I heard the charge and that he was in custody...I saw that interview as well and my heart sunk...their grief is so profound, it breaks my heart...love the changes to the poem, Lisa!

yes, that interview was tough to watch and it brought it home for me how tragic and senseless Trayvon's murder was...I am so glad he did not walk away from this case..fear and depraved mind is what killed him..I will keep the Martin family in my prayers and like the changes to the poem Lisa!

I like the changes you made, Lisa and I am with you all on being elated that he has finally bee arrested. I did not see the interview with the family but I can imagine the pain they feel. He is having a bond hearing next week, they moved it up from May 29. I sure hope they do not give him bail cause he will flee...keep up the fantastic work Lisa!
