GRACE OF STOLEN TIME
ten below zero snow on ground, bed of asphalt, stench of death lingering in alleyway innocence shattered precious soul given for survival
veil of tears shrouds bitter agony shadows creeping over crisp air growing colder snow piling higher
trash bag overcoat the only protection from the snow and cold anguished screams fade unheard
voice weak swallowed by hollow winds lost child living on the grace of stolen time © 2008 Lisa Arnold
I am not sure if I posted this here before, if I have my apology

I've read this on one of your personal sites, but I do not remember it here. You have written a gripping write that tells of a tragedy in an elegant way!
